Gourdon itself, heart of the Bouriane in Quercy, is a pleasant medieval market town with lots of amenities and it offers loads of opportunities in terms of tourism as most of the touristic highlights are located within 30 km from our house. Our home is ideally situated, halfway between the major sites of the Dordogne and those of the Quercy.

Our house offers both the peace and quiet of the countryside, off a small lane, off the main road...but we are also only 2 kms away from the medieval, historic centre, with shopping facilities nearby; and the path to St-James of Compostela (alternative route of the Camino de Santiago, the GR 652)  is at the end of our road, just over half a mile from our house.

There is so much to see in our beautiful area that we will be more than happy to share with you our love and passion for this area. Down below are a few snapshots of Gourdon, as a starter! You will find more on the blog attached to the French version of our website, just to give you an insight into our favourite places!
